DАfmi SM – New Breaking Quality

DAfmi SM brake pads is a newly designed product of DAfmi Ltd. This product have caught the interest of Russian car enthusiasts that use the brake pads of the mid-range segment.
The unique feature of a new line is the integration of the properties of steel, mineral fibers and components of vegetable origin that are required for braking comfort. At that, the amount of the steel fibers in DAfmi SM is more than two times less than in the common non-asbestos metallic brake pads.
That is why the new brake pads were called SM, which means "semimetallic".
DAfmi SM brake pads meet requirements of the Rules №13 and №90 UNECE. DAfmi experts use SAVE DISK TECHNOLOGY for their production.
DAfmi SM brake pads successfully passed the field tests on the company cars, and also in the number of car fleets, where vehicles operate as the taxi, on the DAfmi chassis dynamometer system and in the independent laboratory NAMI (Moscow, Russia) during the certification tests.
The results are impressive: the DAfmi SM friction linings provide the same comfort level of braking, as well as the brake pads with anti-noise plates or mastic resin.
It has been proved not a single time that DAfmi SM brake pads provide minimum wear of the brake disc (at the level of the leading Japanese, Korean and European manufacturers of brake system components), and reduce the pollution of the wheel disks.
In addition: the car, equipped with DAfmi SM brake pads, provides sufficient comfort braking at any speed.
It is noteworthy that the operating life of the brake pads has become significantly longer, and the friction coefficient has become stable enough at temperatures up to 700 ° C, both in dry and wet conditions.
Since 1st August, 2011 one can purchase DAfmi brake pads D443 for GAZ 3302, 3110 and D301 for VAZ 2121 on the territory of Russia. Consequently DAfmi SM brake pads will completely replace popular with consumers DAfmi-plus and DAfmi-T7 lines.
